Texture: Sandpearl (SD)

The sandy pearl structure is homogeneous and multi-directional, the fine grain is sharp-edged and precise. The both matt and delicate surface has a modern and well-balanced appearance. It can therefore be used universally for almost all decors. In particular, sand pearl gives clarity to material and uni decors.

Quadra Profile

The Duropal Quadra profile, fashionable yet tried and tested, offers you unique product features and is available in this collection in 33 colourways

3mm Radius

The profiled front edge of Duropal Quadra worktops is designed to prevent liquid spills finding their way into drawers and cupboards.

Drip Groove: All worktops with a Quadra profile feature a unique v-groove seal which has been patented specifically for Duropal worktops. This seal is designed to ensure a maximum of protection against moisture and steam.

Edging Strips, Please Note:

Edging strips are not supplied with Duropal Worktops, Upstands or Splashbacks, these can be purchased separately if required. Please check if you need edging before placing an order.

Duropal 2000mm (Half Size Worktops) 

2000 worktops/breakfast bars: Please note these are a 4100-length cut in half - a rough cut. 2000 sizes are not available from the manufacturer.  

As with the 4100 lengths, please allow for fitting Tolerances of normally -/+ 25mm.

HPL MDF Back Panels

Consisting of an 8mm E1 medium density fibreboard (MDF) core surfaced with genuine Duropal high-pressure laminate manufactured to EN 438. Available to match all decors, in the following size:

• 4,100x640x9.2mm nominal (8mm MDF core)

HIGH PRESSURE LAMINATE (HPL) UPSTANDS

Surfaced in genuine Duropal high pressure laminate produced with P3 moisture-resistant chipboard core and available in the following size:

• 4,100 x 120 x 20mm nominal, (3mm postformed radius)

An ideal finishing touch for your Duropal high pressure laminate worktops offering another cost-efficient and hygienic alternative to tiling.

Whilst our Duropal HPL upstands are produced using P3 moisture-resistant chipboard, please ensure that due care is taken to correctly seal the product to prevent moisture ingress.

General guidelines for processing Duropal Worktops

• Always use sharp tools.
• Circular saw blades with flat chamfer teeth (FZ/FA) or alternating teeth (WZ) achieve best results.
• Reduce the feed rate when cutting through the postformed edge.
• Spiral router cutters achieve best results.
• For finishing edges with Duropal HPL edging strip, trim and finish with 300 grit sandpaper.
